The Mission Of The Bastrop Central Appraisal District Is To Develop Accurate, Equal, And Uniform Appraisals For Use In Property Taxation Assessment In The Most Efficient Manner Possible While Providing Excellent Customer Service For All Our Constituents. 

The Bastrop CAD Board of Directors is currently accepting applications from citizens who would like to serve as an Appraisal Review Board (ARB) member.  The appointment is for two years beginning January 1, 2020.  To be eligible to serve, a person must have lived in Bastrop County for at least the past two years.  Training is provided by the Texas State Comptroller in February.  The ARB meets primarily Tuesdays and Thursdays during the months of June-September.  For more information and a link to an application, click here.

NOTICE:   Appraisal staff are in the field reviewing, inspecting and listing real and business personal property.  Staff have identification badges and our vehicles have emblems referencing the Bastrop Central Appraisal District.  If you have any concerns, please contact our office at 512-303-1930 and our receptionist can confirm the individual or vehicle.
